Off-Line Programming
Off-line Programming (OLP) is the process of conversion of a «sequence of operations», generating the robot’s program in the producer’s native language (Kuka, Fanuc, Motoman, ABB, Comau etc). The general programs can be directly downloaded in the robot’s controller and tested.
The main advantages of this off-line programing are the diminishing of the programming time, the diminishing of the non-functional time of the equipment during the length of programing of a new variant and the possibly of programming complex paths.e
